CASA 2023 and Public Consultation in 2024

As most landlords are aware we are operating under the new CASA 2023 rules until 2025. Below are the links to the CASA and along with the RTO's Q&A document.

The Main parts of CASA that effect Yukon Landlords are:

A) Rent Cap

B) Change to process ending evection.  

C)  Updating the Yukon Landlord Tenant Act before 2025.

Our board has been working diligently through 2024 to bring our membership together to provide input on the YRLT Act. consolation.
