CASA 2023

As most landlords are aware we are operating under the new CASA 2023 rules until 2025. Below are the links to the CASA and along with the RTO's Q&A document.

The Main parts of CASA that effect Yukon Landlords are:

A) Rent Cap

B) Change to process ending evection.  

C)  Updating the Yukon Landlord Tenant Act before 2025.

Our board is working diligently to advocate for landlords to correct the un-intended consciences of CASA, providing a touch point for our membership with Minister Mostyn and Kate White and we will proactively be part of the consultation.
