WHO WE ARE
The Yukon Residential Landlord Association (YRLA) is a non-profit organization formed as a Coalition in 2010 and in 2011 registered under the Societies Act of the Yukon Territory.
Under the leadership of an elected volunteer Board of Directors, the YRLA provided a strong voice for Yukon Landlords in response to the Yukon government’s public survey to the proposed NEW Landlord and Tenant Act (RLTA) The YRLA submitted a very detailed report of comments and recommendations and played an active role in the development of the new Act and Regulations.
In 2014 the YRLA focused intensely on assembling specific information for input to the Yukon Government’s Survey of the Regulations and Minimum Standards for the new RLTA.
Our members own and manage residential rental properties that range from one to several hundred units, and include apartments, houses, and secondary suites.
The YRLA is working to develop educational programs, resources and support services to enhance professionalism within the industry.
